Rotary Camera Club Spring Outing to Branklyn Gardens, Perth on 10th May 2007
Branklyn Gardens overlooking Perth on Kinnoull Hill was the venue for this year Spring Outing. After coffee at The Isle of Skye Hotel the head gardener at Branklyn was on hand to give us a guided tour of a rather wet but very interesting garden, owned by the National Trust for Scotland.
We then spent around 1 hour searching for the best shots before making some plant purchases on our way back to the cars.
Lunch was at Cree's Inn, Abernethy on the way home. Favourite on the day was home made Steak Pie with Chips followed by Sponge with Custard. A beer before the meal and coffee at the end rounded of a very enjoyable outing.
Members & Guests who enjoyed the outing were,
Graham Bowen, Sandy Mitchell, Bill Low, Bela Simandi, Ian Donaldson, Graham & Carole Pirie and Michael & Claire Hendry.
